I am a freelance dressage trainer and instructor based in Sussex. I train pure dressage, but also enjoy training many Showing Pony’s, Show Jumpers and Eventers. You may be experienced and just need ‘eyes on the ground` or perhaps you are just starting out. I am happy to ride, train and compete your horse if that is what you wish. I cover a wide area of Sussex and Surrey.
I have trained with some leading international riders and trainers. The input I gain from their knowledge and experience influences my competitive training. I take a classical approach, being more aware of what one is doing, and how your balance influences your horses’ ability to work correctly. This in turn affects your ability to give effective aids yet still remain quiet and elegant. I like to achieve a successful and more importantly, a happy partnership with my horse. It is important to me, that when ridden, the horse learns how to use his muscles correctly, achieving a relaxed, happy and healthy partnership.
